Vintage Photo Strip Maker

Build a retro photo strip in your browser — the kind you used to crowd into at the fair. Two to six frames, film-style paper, hand-drawn details, and a full-size download when you are happy.

Old TIMES is a free, indie-built photo strip maker that runs entirely on your own device. You take the photos with your camera or upload them from your phone, choose how many frames, and the booth lays them into a classic vertical strip you can restyle until it feels right.

How the strip is made

  1. Choose a format. Pick Photo Strip to make a multi-frame strip, or Single Photo for one portrait that you can still lay out like a strip.
  2. Add two to six photos. Use your camera with a three-second timer, or upload pictures you already have. Every frame can be retaken or replaced on its own.
  3. Make it yours. Apply a film-inspired finish, slide a photo inside its window, then add doodles, stickers, lettering and a footer line.
  4. See it at print size, then save it. The preview shows the strip at the exact proportions of its print size, so nothing is cropped or stretched when it is printed.

What you can change

  • Finish. Warm, faded, black-and-white and other film-inspired looks, plus fine controls for brightness, contrast and saturation.
  • Layout and paper. A classic vertical strip, a two-by-two grid, a wide story or a contact sheet — on aged-paper themes with soft ink.
  • Details. Freehand doodles and ready-made scribbles, dozens of small stickers, colored lettering, and a footer line for the date or a name.
  • Frames. Drop a single photo into a viewfinder or give each frame in a strip its own frame.

Sizes and printing

The strip downloads as a high-resolution PNG rendered at 300 DPI. Pick the size that matches how you want to keep it — a tall strip for a photo booth frame, a standard print size for an album, or a four-by-six sheet with the strip centered so you can print it as a normal photo and trim along the guides.

For a local print shop, print the listed inch size without resizing. Printing at home? Use the downloaded file directly at 300 DPI.

Ideas for a vintage strip

  • A three-frame strip from a single afternoon, with the date written in the footer.
  • A six-frame strip of one person across the years — same crop, different decades.
  • A two-photo strip for a wedding or anniversary invite, on the aged-paper theme.
  • A contact-sheet layout for a party, where every guest gets one frame.

Why it is free and private

Designing a strip is free, and your photos never leave your device while you work — they are processed in the browser and let go when you leave. A small one-time charge only appears if you want the full-size print file, and even then just that one finished image is used to deliver your download.
